A FLORAL DESIGN, BUSINESS BASICS & INSPIRATION EXPERIENCE HOSTED AT THE GORGEOUS GRACE ROSE FARM

Join Tanya of Oh Flora Studio along with local host, Gracie of Grace Rose Farm & their teams for an unforgettable time of floral design, creative restoration, fun, friendships, personal and business growth in this inspiring & dreamy location.

From the very beginnings of Oh Flora through to her now thriving business and recognisable designs, Tanya will share her way of floral design and the knowledge she's gained from her experience in the floral and event industry and answer all your design & business questions -  with nothing off limits! She’ll openly discuss her preferred techniques & resources, where she turns to for fresh inspiration & the lessons learnt along the way. She will also share her behind the scenes business processes, pricing, proposals, social media and time-saving tips. Attendees will receive a hardcopy of Tanya's real price guide and service information, visual proposal and email templates.

We’ll harvest an abundance of romantic garden roses directly from the fields of Grace Rose Farm and create beautiful designs with these and other seasonal blooms, textures and interesting foliages and botanics.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to arrange their own rambling, bountiful bouquet &  portrait style arrangement (or centrepiece) with personal instruction from Tanya. You’ll observe the installation of large scale ceremony florals, while note taking & asking all the Q’s! On our final day together, as a team and using real-life techniques, we will complete an abundant large scale floral installation & bring together our very own dinner party with all the finer details. We’ll enjoy the floral heaven we’ve created over a delicious farewell dinner . You’ll have time to freshen up on the farm & relax before dinner, taking in the few beautiful days that were & reflect on our time together.

During the workshop, attendees will have their work beautifully styled and professionally photographed for their portfolio. Candid working images and a headshot will also be captured.
We will have a professional model and all the details of a real styled shoot to ensure realistic images for you that will help to attract your ideal client.

All meals and refreshments while on the farm will be provided as well a welcome dinner and drinks.

Discussions: Installation theory & how to prepare for events (logistics, finding a team, timelines etc)
Business Q&A Session - ask anything!
Team Meeting: We’ll discuss the details, proposal & mood board for our own dinner party, just as the Oh Flora team would for real life events!
This day will include designing & “bump in” of our own dinner party hosted on the farm, including table styling, simplified table florals & a large scale garden style installation - This will be a hands on, experience where you’ll get involved in all aspects of the design & work as a team.

We understand this is an investment in yourself, and very much appreciate the sacrifices made to come along.  We are offering an affordable payment plan of 3 instalments;
First Instalment of $1100 AUD due at the time of booking to secure your place.   Second of $1500 AUD due 15th March 2019.   Third of $1500 AUD due 15th May 2019.
Please note, places are NOT refundable.  In the unfortunate situation, you may become unable to attend, you place can be transferred to another at your own doing.  This action will need to be recorded with Oh Flora.
There is a minimum of 8 students needed for the class to be held.  In the unfortunate event, we do not meet this minimum, all students will receive a full refund.  All students will be informed at least 60 days prior to workshop start date - please keep this in mind when booking flights and insurance.

PLEASE NOTE:  Travel, accommodation & transport to and from the farm is NOT included.   Shortly upon booking, you will receive a short list of hotel recommendations in Santa Ynez

We always recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance when travelling abroad.  It's also important to check if you may need a visa to access the USA or when in transit (stopovers).

This class is suitable for all design levels.  It is aimed at all flower lovers, artists, those exploring the field,  beginners within the floral industry  & those wanting to expand and refine their skills, aesthetic & portfolio. No previous experience required.
To keep things intimate and to maintain a great learning environment, there is a maximum of 12 students for this class.
