ILLUMINA - An Oh Flora Destination Workshop in Mexico City

We spent 4 days exploring the city, designing dreamy florals, visiting markets, eating A LOT and we topped it all off with a fabulous dinner party in the heart of Roma Norte while sipping real margaritas, eating tacos, devouring cheese wheels & seat dancing along to THE most fabulous mariachi band!

Hey!

I’m Tanya, founder of Oh Flora Studio, this floral design business that’s now grown into so much more, including wedding and event planning, event design, workshops and our own line of handcrafted, ethically and sustainably made vessels!

I live in Sydney with my Husband and our beloved Labrador, Cooper (he’s kind of instafamous, check out the Instagram account below).

My heart is constantly pulled toward visiting new places and experiencing other cultures. Since my first overseas adventure at 21, I literally just can’t stop!

There’s something that the ocean does to me that just calms my entire being - this may sound woo woo, but I think we all have that special place right?

I’m a girl that grew up making things since I can remember. I’ve always be determined that I would continue to create, whatever way that would come about. Harnessing the excitement I have for creating beautiful events, designing with nature and planning unforgettable experiences into a fulfilling and life changing career has been truly magic. I’ll be forever grateful for the incredible times I’ve hard through this job and the support from clients, friends and family.

I hope this journal brings you inspiration and helpful tips and encourages you to add beauty to your everyday as well as the once-i- a-lifetime milestones.
