It has been a while since this event, even though it feels not that long ago! … this year has gone SO FAST!
Today I'm sharing some captures of our florals for the VIP American Express marquee at the Vogue Fashion Night out last September. The same event was duplicated & executed flawlessly in both Sydney & Melbourne by the insane talent of Studio Messa. Both these events were only 6 days apart and I must say, this was the BIGGEST travel & logistics job (in Melbourne) we've ever done!
We arranged these creations with lots and lots... and LOTS (over 4400 stems) of blue delphinium (I swear we got every stem there was around the world at the time!)
You'll see in the images below, along with table arrangements & flower crowns, we arranged a 3 x 2.5 metre statement wall of all fresh delphiniums + two large hanging installations - also all in blue delphinium!
For both events we had a large freelance team working hard from 3am + the of course the two lovelies whom work casually for Oh Flora, Zoey & Nadia!
Zoey had just started - this was her FIRST event with me! (And she stayed!?) ... And can I just say, Nadia is the QUEEN of logistics and was specifically assigned to all things timelines, stem counts etc + helped with designing on bump ins.
