2:1 Floral & Design Class hosted in the Oh Flora Studio:
Dive deep into flowers & learn the process behind creating nature inspired designs, using sustainable methods & botanics.

Join me for a full day in the studio

An abundance of seasonal flowers, local produce, two different designs, and full rein over Oh Flora Studio’s styling collection, this class offers a fun and unique experience to learn new techniques, build your portfolio and refine your creative process. You'll learn in an intimate 2:1 setting in Tanya’s home-based studio in the Byron Bay Hinterland.

With plenty of time to play and discuss ideas, you’ll leave with armfuls of flowers, beautiful ceramics, and new skills to unfold into your creative journey.

Inclusions for the day:

  • Pre-class call to discuss your goals for the class, colour palette & styling preferences

  • Plenty of seasonal flowers, foliages and produce for arranging and styling, mostly sourced from farms in the area

  • Portrait Style Arrangement - demonstration followed by creating your own floral scene filled with flowers, props, fruits, fabrics and more

  • Tablescape - demonstration followed by creating arrangements for your own dreamy tablescape “for 6” complete with linens, tableware, glasses, candles & other elements for a real life feel and imagery

  • Lunch & discussions on business or design goals/questions - any dietary requirements can be accommodated

  • Photography of your designs & yourself - you’ll leave with tons of phone content and photos will be delivered within 2 weeks

  • Post-class check-in 2-4 weeks later to discuss any questions

  • Complimentary access to an Oh Flora School class of your choice

This class will be held all day on Saturday 31st October 2026.
Tanya’s address and start time will be shared with attendees 2 weeks prior to the class.

 

Investment: $3,300 AUD

A deposit of 30% ($990 AUD) is due to secure your place.
The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the class (23rd Oct)

What started as a hopeful career choice over a decade ago, not knowing which direction it would take me. I began Oh Flora with a horribly hand-drawn logo and by giving away way too many free flowers while taking a part-time floristry course and working several casual jobs.

Since then, flowers have opened up more opportunities than I could have imagined. I've travelled the world for events, guest teaching, and hosting design retreats, and I have met and worked with some of the most influential names in the floral industry.

Intimate and high-end weddings, events, dinner parties, retreats, workshops, botanical product styling, PR send-outs, and online education- all these things and more have led back to my love of flowers, design and hosting.

There are many paths to take in this nature-inspired world, and I'm sure many more to be discovered. I hope to share, educate, and inspire others to see the possibilities that come from beautiful design, hard work, and an open heart.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS

Please note that all payments made are non-refundable, so please be sure you can attend before purchasing your ticket.

Due to the nature of our small business and limited places for this class, we can not make exceptions, sorry. In the unfortunate situation that you are unable to attend, your place can be transferred to another at your own expense. This action needs to be recorded with Oh Flora Studio at least 2 weeks prior. Should illness, acts of God (weather, floods, flight cancellations) make it so you are unable to attend sooner than 2 weeks before your workshop date, please be in touch as soon as possible. We will try our best to give you another date option should our calendar allow.

In the event government restrictions or unforeseen private matters (illness, death, acts of God, etc.) prevent Oh Flora Studio from hosting the class/workshop, the class will be postponed to a later date.

In the event we need to cancel entirely, attendees will receive a full refund. Please be aware that, by booking, you agree that Oh Flora Studio is not responsible for the costs of any travel, accommodation, care hire or other activities booked or paid in the event Oh Flora Studio needs to cancel your class.

TRAVEL

Travel is not included. We always recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance when travelling abroad or locally. It's also important to check if you may need a visa to access Australia or when in transit (stopovers). Attendees will need to organise and financially cover their own travel including flights, transfers and/or car hire.

PHOTOGRAPHY USAGE

Any images photographed by Oh Flora Studio are yours to use as you wish, EXCLUDING on-selling to third parties. Images are to be used for the person or company attending the class/workshop for advertising, marketing, website, social media etc.
