A week in Mexcio City // Part II

Oh Flora Studio / Mexico

Wow!  What is going on?!  Two posts in three days?  .. I know, I'm trying very hard to make a habit of this 'blogging' to share my most favourite snaps and some of the places I love to travel.  But for the most part, I'm encouraging myself to do this is for my own self improvement.  I really like to write and take photos, but I don't think I'm all that good at it - So here I am trying to better myself.  Here's to hopes (and doings) that I'll keep it up!

Today I'm sharing the second part of my short trip to Mexico City (and San Miguel).

As I mentioned in my previous post, the main reason for heading to Mexico was to meet up with floral gal pals and attend Sarah Windward & Nicole Lands' Workshop a couple of hours drive outside Mexico City.   The workshop was held at a beautiful Hacienda - Hacienda Acamilpa

Below are some of my favourite snaps from the workshop (I took)!  Can't wait to see those captured on film By Heather Nan - She is AMAZING!

The following day we went on a mini road trip to San Miguel de Allende.  This little city was some kind of magic!  Honestly, the colours, the cobbled streets (may have almost broke my ankle a couple of times) and buildings were just beautiful!  There were cactus and bougainvillea growing all over, everywhere.   This city is filled with interest and abundant inspiration.  I'd HIGHLY recommend checking it if you're around Mexico City!

During our two nights in San Miguel, we stayed at Dos Casas Boutique Hotel.  The room and private rooftop patio (overlooking the city) were gorgeous.  The decor and vibe of the hotel really fit the scene of the city.   Oh and the food, cocktails and service?  AMAZING!  Both mornings we had the most delish breaky brought up to our room to enjoy in the morning sun.  And we even were treated to Mango and Lavender cocktails on the rooftop while the sun was setting - how fitting for florists!  It sounds dreamy, cos it really was!

I hope you enjoy these photos of my travels.   And I really hope you feel inspired by the colours and floral!
