Kellsie & Dean's Wedding | A Dreamy Intimate Celebration

When a former Oh Flora Team member gets married, you know it’s going to be dreamy!

Kellsie came all over the world with us in 2019, leading planning and coordination of our Oh Flora Retreats in Mexico, California, New Zealand and throughout Australia. When we launched the Oh Flora Store, Kellsie was there to see to ship out the abundance of orders and share the crazy excitement of seeing so many florists loving our pieces. Then in 2020, all know what happened… a whole bunch of weddings and love filled occasions were postponed for way longer than any of us saw coming — including Kellsie & Dean’s Celebration.

Finally, at the start of this year, Kellsie & Dean we’re able to share their day with a scaled back and intimate guest count of less than 40.

For the colour palette, Kellsie looked to our Mexico City workshop for inspiration and we love that she did! Peachy tones, blush and tangerine are a never fail. And for the tablescapes we opted for a mix of ceramic vessels in various sizes and lots of dinner candles to create a romantic and abundant feel. Using apricots and grapefruits added an additional layer of interest along the tables.

What a dreamy way to return to weddings for our founder Tanya, after the birth of her son Oscar… how came along for bouquet delivery and bump in!

As always, all arrangements were created using sustainable practices and with Kellsie & Dean’s wedding being in the peak of summer, there were plenty of locally sourced, seasonal blooms to choose from!

Oh Flora Store ceramics we used:

Mala and Florence candle holders , Luna styling plates (layered with candle holders to catch wax), Ella Compotes , Vila Dishes , Audrey Vases and Jolie Bud Vases.
